This is my favorite t-shirt. It pretty much sums up how I am feeling at the mo'.
Wow! Is there anything more
As everyone who teaches knows, you have to spend these first weeks establishing the classroom rules and procedures. I am tired of telling everyone what to do and how to do it! I want to do some teaching! I know that it will pay off in the long run, but I am tired of my own voice! :) (You don't often hear that one from me do you?)

Me! Ready for Open House (also my first "selfie!")
And, a random picture of my adorable "fur niece!" Bella.
I hope that your school year is going well. I'm off to take a nap! :)
You are so right about it taking only 4 more to make a difference. It is so strange how just a few more kids can make a big change in your class. I feel like I have a large class too this year. I currently have 25.

Even two more makes a big difference. I have 31 fourth graders and am being told to plan on 3 more before much longer. Ugh. I am with you on the beginning of the school year being so exhausting. Thanks for the reminder that it will pay off soon! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by Jamie and Justin. We had our first field trip today and my class seemed huge! What a difference in noise level with that man more kiddos! Ugh...it is taking me a lot longer to get my kiddos into the routine this year as well! I hope you all have a great year! :)
