I can't believe that is is April already! Our 3rd grading period disappeared! I am currently on Spring Break and enjoying it immensely, but it's hard to call it Spring Break when it is a whopping 30 degrees outside! Brrrrrrrrrr....
My goal for Spring Break is to put a new product up on TpT. This always makes me a little nervous. "Will anyone like it?" "Will anyone find it useful?" "Is it full of mistakes?" Does anyone else feel like this? That is why it takes me so long to put something up!
I feel like I am the only person I know (besides the hubba) who doesn't have a smartphone. The hubba isn't at all interested in getting one. I am still trying to figure out which one I want then I am going to make my move....
I love this quote by Dr. Seuss (I just love Dr. Seuss in general, he is my hero!). But it rings so totally true!
“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind”
Happy April! What are you doing currently?
I am on spring break, too! I hope you have a wonderful week! The weatherman said it was going to be in the 70s for us this week...we shall see! I love your cute blog, and I am a new follower!

MissMathDork!
OH girl, I hear ya on the product stuff! I hate that feeling of, "Is anyone going to even find this useful?? or just junk?" I'm going onto my 3rd week of spring break and I am so lovin' it! Although, I'm not sure whether I should be thankful for sad that we're off on April Fools because A) We are sparred the silly kid jokes but on the other hand B) You miss out on some really good stories! :)

My goodness! We only get a week for spring break! I wish I had a few more!

Granted, it is just passed midnight here... I had to read the 30 degrees and brrrrr section about five times. Ohhhhhh!! Fahrenheit! Gotcha. Here I was thinking, "M'dear, you must have the flu. You should not be needing to turn up the heat at 30 degrees."
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog. I'm a new follower.

Hi there Hilary!
ReplyDeleteI am on spring break this week too! The Missus (Teacher to the Core) is back to work today and I am home with the Boy. This gives us ALL day to plan for April Fool's Day before she gets home! That should be a lot of fun. For the boys at least! I got an iPhone for Christmas and really like it. And, it isn't that difficult to talk us husbands into things! LOL!

I am so glad that I was not at school today for April Fools! Second graders really get into it, but they aren't very good at it!

Love your blog--it's so cute! I found it through Farley's link up. Here's my advice on the smartphone thing because I was in the same boat as you about a year ago. I just decided that I was getting one no matter what the hubs said because it was MY phone and it wasn't going to raise our bill very much. After the first night, he was asking to see it all the time and I would catch him playing games on it! Two weeks later, he had his own!! Just do it! ;)
