My Quirky Classroom: The Real Teachers of Blog County

Hello all!
I was looking around my classroom the other day looking for blog ideas
and it hit me how I have a lot of fun, quirky things in my classroom that I wanted to share!
I also wanted to see the fun, quirky things that make other classrooms unique!
So, I thought to myself...self, this might be a good idea for a "Real Teachers of "Blog" County link-up post!

This is a fun cup from Ikea.  It hangs perfectly on my easel and stores my markers!

I recently went to the Blogger Meet-Up in French Lick Indiana and I won this adorable mug!  He is on my desk now holding stuff.  I was a little nervous to drink out of it.  I was afraid to get a horn in my eye!  I love him though.  He is so much fun!  Thanks I Teach STEM!

This one needs a little explaining.  As a behavior management tool in my classroom, when I see someone who is doing the right thing, being kind, etc.  I hand them our class mascot Dwight the Eagle.  Then, the kids pass him around as instructed throughout the day.  Whoever has him at the end of the day gets to pick out of the prize box.  Well, the other day we were doing a school fundraiser for St. Baldrick's and the kiddos could bring in a toy for $1.  So, one of my kiddos brought in her doll.  I found these two getting cozy by the couch before Reading Time!  I couldn't resist!

I LOVE sloths.  This one just sits on my read aloud basket and looks cute and I love him!

Last, but not least, you can tell it's been a good day by the level of mess on my desk.
This day must have been AWESOME! Why yes, I do have an owl, an alpaca, and a naked mole rat on my desk!  Can you spot them?
I would love to see some of the things that make your classroom unique!
Grab the button above and link up!
I can't wait!
